Sunshine Scrubber Free Crochet Pattern

Summer Cottons!?! I always turn to Knit Picks Dishie! This skein of Dishie Multi in the Sunshine colorway told me that it wanted to be a happy dishcloth to brighten my Saturday cleaning day.

YARN

Knit Picks Dishie Multi, worsted weight #4 yarn (100% cotton; 190 yds/174m per 3.5 oz/100g skein)

HOOK & OTHER MATERIALS

9” x 9″

GAUGE

Gauge is not critical to this project.

Similar #4 weight yarns may be substituted; please check gauge.

STITCH ABBREVIATIONS

ch – chain, yo – yarn over, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet, sl st – slip stitch, st(s) – stitch(es)

SPECIAL STITCH

fpdc3tog (front post 3 double crochet stitches together) = [yo and insert hook around post of next st, yo and pull up loop, yo and pull through 2 loops] 3 times, yo and pull through all loops on hook.

Instructions:

Ch 36.

Row 1:  Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn—35 sts here and throughout.
Row 2 (RS):  Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc here and throughout), dc in each st across, turn.
Row 3:  Ch 3, dc in same, [fpdc3tog, 2 dc in next 2 sts] 6 times, fpdc3tog, 2 dc in turning ch, turn.
Rows 4-17:  Repeat Rows 2-3.
Row 18:  Ch 1, sc in each st across.

Continue to Border.

Border

Sc evenly around, ch 1 in each corner, sl st to 1st sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.
